I agree that by signing up for Tax electronic billing (eBilling) I will no longer receive paper interim or final tax bills in the mail. All other correspondence will continue to be mailed through Canada Post. It is my responsibility to notify the City of Thunder Bay of any changes to my mailing address. Any charge on account due to undelivered correspondence from an incorrect email or mailing address cannot be waived.
I understand that eBilling does not transfer when a property is sold. When a property is sold, my email will be removed from this property. If I purchase another property in the City of Thunder Bay, I must sign up for eBilling on the new property.
Personal information is collected under the authority of the Municipal Act, 2001, S.O. 2001, c. 25, s 8(1), 9, and 10(2), ss 3, and will be used to maintain a record of customer contact information and communicate with customers about matters relating to water services and tax accounts.
